22 European research projects related to Ambient Intelligence & Security issues will present their objectives, progresses and results, and finally exchange views to outline long term IT security strategies for Europe.
Research areas explored include:
" AmI Environments Secure, dependable and trusted infrastructures
" Grid & Global computing
" Pervasive adaptation
" Authentication / Biometrics

EuroTRUSTAmI Workshop highlights
► Opening Keynote by Thomas Skordas, deputy Head of the Security Unit at DG INFSO/MEDIA: Research in ICT Security & Trust (to be confirmed)
► Panel debate: “Next research issues towards Trusted AmI” moderated by Pr. Antonio Maña, University of Malaga. The panellists will discuss the latest Research advances towards real-world AmI and explore open issues not yet addressed by ongoing projects. This debate will also initiate a Networking Session at the ICT 2008 Lyon held in November.
► Cooperation Workshop dedicated to
foster synergies, identifying connections and collaboration avenues between the European projects invited and other external interested parties.
► One day workshop “The making of SERENITY”: the Serenity consortium partners will explain
how to build more secure and dependable systems even if the execution context of the application is unknown.
► EuroTRUSTAmI is
co-located with “The Internet of Things and Services”, 1st international Research Workshop, co-organized by the HYDRA project, which explores middleware solutions enabling semantic interoperable security for embedded systems.
