Innovation and policy makers of e-ID technologies & services gather at World e-ID. Take a comprehensive look at the major e-ID deployments from across the globe and learn of the latest advances in standardisation & e-ID applications.
The EC objective to reach e-ID interoperability by 2010 has set the agenda for the Digital Security ecosystem and government representatives. In addition to interoperability issues, the new requirements of EU ePassport and the numerous ID card national initiatives are stimulating the industry to raise the bar of security & privacy, to bring up innovative solutions, to setup standards. Consider theses issues and many other ones at the World e-ID conference.
The World e-ID 2008 edition features an exceptional panel of (e-)government representatives (12 countries plus the EU) to present and share the lessons from their e-ID initiatives. These presentations are complemented by the solutions and visions of e-ID experts from the industry leaders and main associations, consultancy and standardisation bodies. All in all, during 2 ½ days, more than 50 speakers will provide actionable information.
