5 March 2008 - About
The European Webzine of IT Mobility and Security dedicates itself to innovation in mobility and security fields. Aimed at researchers, experts from academia, industry and institutions, standardisation bodies, consulting and evaluation companies, it provides a thorough insight of IT mobility and security innovation from prospective/R&D to pre-industrialisation stage, seen through an European approach.

The Webzine is positioned at a major crossroad for IT industry and services: on the one side the IT networks, internet and wireless convergence, on the other side the ever growing needs for secure, trusted, convenient user-centric applications. Both trends meet, raising new challenges for innovation players, imposing new security patterns on IT architectures to ensure the users’ trust. Those emerging issues result in applications such as ambient intelligence (ubiquitous computing), mobile Internet, m-payment, smart devices, biometrics, social networks, localisation based services, etc.

The editorial department of The European Webzine of IT Mobility and Security welcomes press releases from manufacturers, software editors, associations and organisations evolving in the security and mobility sectors.
